Currently based in Markham, Deloris Chen is an illustrator and painter. She graduated in 2020 from OCAD University with a BDes in illustration. She is continuing to explore her journey to art-making by studying ceramic and textile design at OCAD University again starting in 2024. Having spent an equal amount of time in China and Canada, Deloris's works explore connections between people, focusing on mood-building and fragmented narration. Aside from drawing and painting, Deloris is also interested in films and travelling. She works with both digital and analog mediums and is inspired by the world around her constantly.

How long have you been creating art?
I have been drawing since the age of 6, and have kept making drawings and paintings for fun ever since. So I will considered that I have been creating art for about 15 years.
